Macau GGR

Inside Asian Gaming is reporting that Macau GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) was up 19% in July. $LVS reported a huge 2Q earnings beat crushing estimates. Results were spectacular and mixed/good in Macau. On the conference call, management said that July was going well in Macau. The 19% growth number covers the entire sector including the other 5 concessionaires. It also is a big acceleration. Full year GGR growth is 6.5% including the July number giving you a sense of how strong recent results have been. There has also been increasing interest in non-gaming revenue, an area where $LVS excels. July results represent a post-pandemic record.
